IJ45715: OPEN MAP DIALOG DOES NOT CENTER ON LINKED RECORD FOR CUSTOM APPLICATIONS

APAR status

Error description

• STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  1. Go to Database Configuration
  2. Create a new Object.
  3. In the Object tab:
  Object: CUSTOMOBJ
  Description: Custom obj for custom app
  4. Save.
  5. In the Attributes tab:
  New Row:
  -Attribute: ASSETNUM
  -Same as Object: ASSET
  -Same as Attribute: ASSETNUM
  New Row:
  -Attribute: SITEID
  -Same as Object: SITE
  -Same as Attribute: SITEID
  6. Save.
  7. In the Relationships tab:
  New Row:
  -Relationship: ASSET
  -Where Clause: assetnum = :assetnum and siteid=:siteid
  -Child Object: ASSET
  8. Save.
  9. Enable Admin Mode, apply Configuration Changes and turn Admin
  
  Mode off.
  10. Go to Application Designer.
  11. Create a new application.
  -Application: CSTOBJPWA
  -Description: Custom Object's App
  -Main Object: CUSTOMOBJ
  -Key Attribute: CUSTOMOBJID
  -Module Name: CONTRACT
  12. Click Power App.
  13. From Application designer, access the newly created app and
  open the properties from the assetnum field from the Main tab.
  14. Add to the fields:
  -Menu Type: ASSETMAIN
  -Lookup: ASSET
  15. Save.
  16. Go to Work Order tracking application.
  17. Open any WO which has a linked asset associated to it.
  18. Click on the arrow next to the Asset field and then Open
  Map.
  19. See the map zooms and centers on the asset's feature,
  marking it with a blue arrow.
  20. Go to>Contracts>Custom Object's App
  21. Create a new record.
  22. In the Assetnum field, type same asset from the WO that was
  previously opened.
  23. Add the site to the Siteid field.
  24. Save.
  25. Click on the arrow next to the Assetnum field and then Open
  Map.
  26. See the map does not put the blue arrow, nor does it
  center/zoom on the asset's feature.
  
  RESULT:
  Open Map Dialog does not center on linked record for custom
  Applications
  
  EXPECTED RESULT:
  Map to zoom and center on the asset's feature and marking it
  with a blue arrow.
