Error description

  • snap svCollect / general or without option on VIOS
    3.1.3.x
    fails to collect CM_DB (postgres).
    
    The following error is seen in ./svCollect/svCollect.err
    
    Could not load program
    /usr/ios/db/postgres13/bin/pg_dump:
            Dependent module libpq.a(libpq.so.5) could not be
    loaded.
    Could not load module libpq.a(libpq.so.5).
    System error: No such file or directory
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Snap run as padmin will fail to collect VIOS datbases.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Correct snap code to be able to run pg_dump/pg_restore and
    collect the databases.
