Error description

  • PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    Misleading system message during
    Reschedule/Unassign Assignments
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1) Go to
    Labor application. Filter for WILSON
    2) Attach a calendar and
    shift e.g., assign labor 'wilson' to work 'DAY' calendar, 'DAY'
    shift Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
    3) Create a couple of
    work orders with the following details:
    Set the 'Finish No
    Later Than' date to be some time this coming weekend.
    Go to
    Assignments tab, click New Row button. Enter labor 'WILSON' in
    the labor code
    Save the work orders
    4) Go to Assignment
    Manager. Go to the Labor List section and filter for
    'WILSON'
    5) Click "Modify Availability" icon
    6) Select all the
    work dates. Click Mass Modify button
    Enter a reason code and
    click OK.
    i.e. labor 'WILSON' is not available for 5 business
    days
    7) Go to Work Order Tracking application. Filter for the
    two work orders created in step 3 above
    8) Select
    "Reschedule/Unassign Assignments" action
    9) Enter tomorrow's
    date and click OK
    
    ACTUAL BEHAVIOUR: Receive a warning message:

    BMXAA0159W - The new date will result in scheduled
    dates being later than the finish constraint date. Click OK to
    apply the date changes. Click Close to cancel the
    changes.

    The message does not make sense. The message
    makes the user think that if they click the close button, labor
    will be not be unassigned.
    
    EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR: Show a message
    the labor was unassigned with the work order number and labor
    code
