APAR status

Error description

  • The Access Rights granted to each user are specified in an
    XML file that is read by the Hub's SOAP server at start-up.
       Changes to that file have no effect until the SOAP server is
    reinitialised, which only occurs when the Hub is restarted.
    

Local fix

  • The Hub's SOAP server has been modified to monitor the
    modification time of the XML file. When the file is modified,
    the code re-reads it and dynamically rebuilds its in-core Access
    List so that changes to the file take effect immediately without
    requiring a Hub restart.
    

Problem summary

  • If the access rights of a SOAP user are revoked, the Hub must be
     restarted before the changes take effect.
