IJ40012: INVALID STOREROOM ERROR IS GENERATED WITH THE RECEIPT OF ROTATING ASSETS

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  1. Go to Work Order Tracking and create a new work order with a
  planned material:
      FIRE-100
      Quantity: 1
      Unit Cost: 100
      Direct Issue or Storeroom CENTRAL(It does not matter if it
  is for direct issue or if a storeroom will be chosen. )
  2. Approve this work order
  3. Go to Purchase Order and create a new PO
  
  4. Under PO Lines tab create:
      Add New Row
           Item: FIRE-100
           Quantity: 1
           Unit Cost: 100
           Work Order: the work order created above
           Location: MOFLOOR2
           GL Debit Account: 6100-400-200
      Add New Row
           Item: FIRE-100
           Quantity: 1
           Unit Cost: 100
           Storeroom: CENTRAL
  5. Save and Approve it
  6. Go to Receiving application and bring up the PO created above
  
  7. Under Material Receipts > Select Ordered Items > Select all
  of them
  8. The 1st line is charged with the work order and the 2nd is
  with the storeroom
  9. Save it
  10. Change Inspection Status
  11. Receive Rotating Assets > Autonumber > OK
  
  
  RESULT:
  The following error messages pop up on the screen:
  
  BMXAA2660E - Storeroom is not a valid inventory location
  
  
  EXPECTED RESULT:
  Rotating assets to be received.
  
  
  REPORTED IN VERSION:
  TPAE 7.6.1.1
