IJ37737: CICSPA PLUGIN AND CICS EXPLORER INTEGRATION - REGION PERFORMANCEHISTORY OPTION MISSING

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In the CICS Explorer view when I right mouse click on a CICS
  region and select "Performance History -> Transaction Summary"
  it now works fine. But if I go back and try to select the same
  option again it has disappeared  .
  If I select another CICS region then go back to the
  first CICS region it reappears.
  'Performance History' is an option made available when the
  CICS PA plug-in for CICS Explorer is installed.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• When using CICS Explorer 5.5 with the CICS Performance Analyzer
  plug-in 5.4 connected to a CICSplex (CMCI) and a CICS
  Performance Analyzer database, where the database contains data
  for a region that is managed by the CICSplex, the Performance
  History option is sometimes missing from the context menu once
  Performance History -> Transaction Summary has been selected.
  

Problem conclusion

• The Performance History option is no longer missing from the
  context menu once Performance History -> Transaction Summary has
  been selected.

  This fix will be made available in Version 5.4.0.9 of the CICS
  Performance Analyzer plug-in for CICS Explorer.
