Error description

  • Problem Description:
High CPU usage after pasting in a large image into long
description

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Service Request application
2. Insert new record
3. Fill in required fields.
4. Put focus in Details field (SR.DESCRIPTION_LONGDESCRIPTION)
and paste an image of large size

5. Tab out from the Details field -

Current results:

Maximo keeps displaying spinning wheel and application server
Java process starts to utilize a lot of CPU resources.

Expected results:

After tabbing out from Details field, the image should be pasted
without high CPU usage, regardless of the size of the image
file.

Environment:

Tivoli's process automation engine 7.6.1.2
