APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • This APAR does not describe a product defect.  It signifies that
AIX7.3 will be supported starting from the V13.1.0.13 PTF
onwards for XL C for AIX, V13.1 .

Compiler PTF levels prior to V13.1.0.13 will output the
following message when run on AIX7.3:

xlc: 1501-287 (S) This compiler does not support AIX 7.3. Please
check with IBM
(http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=43&uid=swg21326972
) to see if there is a PTF for this compiler that supports this
AIX level.
