Error description
DESCRIPTION: If a contract reaches its End Date, the status cannot be changed to Suspended if a more recent revision exists that is unapproved and canceled. STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 1. Log in to maxdemo instance 2. Go To Contracts | Purchase Contracts 3. Common Actions | New Purchase Contract 4. In the End Date field click the Select Date button 5. Click a date in the future 6. In the Company field enter "almar" and tab out 7. More Actions | Authorize Sites 8. Click the Select Sites button 9. Click the checkbox for BEDFORD, then click OK 10. Click OK 11. Common Actions | Change Status 12. In the New Status field use the drop-down arrow and click Approved 13. Click OK 14. Observe that Revision 0 is now in APPR status 15. More Actions | Revise Contract 16. In the Description field enter "test" 17. Common Actions | Change Status 18. In the New Status field use the drop-down arrow and click Canceled 19. Click OK 20. Observe that Revision 1 is now in CAN status 21. On the List View tab enter the Contract number in the Contract field and press Enter 22. Click the row for Revision 0 (APPR status) to open the record 23. Common Actions | Change Status 24. In the New Status field use the drop-down arrow and click Suspended 25. Click OK RESULT: System Message appears: BMXAA0776E - Could not change contract 1064 status to SUSPND. BMXAA0738E - Cannot cancel or suspend a contract that has revisions against it. EXPECTED RESULT: The Approved revision of the contract should be unaffected by a Canceled revision, and should be able to be actioned REPORTED IN VERSION: Tivoli's process automation engine 7.6.1.2-IFIX20210104-1913
Local fix
Create another revision with the current date as the End Date, approve the contract, then change the status to Suspended
