  • Description:
    Unable to select classification in Advanced Search of
    Assets/Work Order applications
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    
    - Login to Maximo
    - Go to Assets --> List View --> Advanced Search --> More Search
    Fields --> Classifications
    - Select Classification --> Try to select any classification
    
    RESULT:
    Nothing happens. Unable to select any classfication
    
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    User should be able to select the classfication
    
    Note:
    Users see a similar behavior in Work Order Tracking application.

    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
     1. Go to Assets --> List View --> Advanced Search --> More
    Search Fields --> Classifications --> Select Classification.
     2. Select the descriptive text of any classification.
     RESULT:
     The node is selected.
     EXPECTED RESULT:
     The selected value should be returned to the Classification
    field as occurs when the node icon is clicked instead of the
    text. In the applications when classifying an object, the user
    can click either the icon or text to return to the
    Classification field with the value.
     Note:
     Users see a similar behavior in Work Order Tracking
    application.

  • The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
    package: Release 7.6.1.3 of Base Services
