Error description
When trying to extend the warranty coverage in Asset Warranty Contracts(Tr), the first asset from warranty asset table displays in extend warranty coverage dialog no matter which asset you have selected. STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 1)Go to Warranties (TR) select Asset Warranty Contracts(TR) 2)Create an Asset Warranty Contract enter start date, end date and renewal date make it for 1 month, Vendor= BEX 3)Properties tab > select Extendable? 4)Coverage tab >click new row add coverage Component> select from value list a component code (go to component codes TR to setup) Line Description enter the component code description Duration=2 Time Unit=week Check Covers Children? 4a)Click new Row > repeat Step 4 populating the same fields select a different component code 4b)Click new Row > repeat Step 4 populating the same fields select a different component code 5)Save 6)Select Authorize Sites > select Bedford 7)Change status to APPR 8)Associated Assets tab - Add 3 Assets Click New Row >Asset=testasset 1 Click New Row >Asset=testasset 2 Click New Row >Asset=testasset 3 9)Save 10)From the Associated Assets tab >highlight the 2nd Asset from the Asset table(testasset 2) 11)Coverage for Asset table notice the highlighted Asset from the Asset Table denotes being the Coverage for testasset 2 12)select one of the Coverage components and select the Extend Warranty Coverage Icon 13)Extend Warranty Coverage Icon opens the Extend Warranty coverage window, RESULTS:The Asset listed is the first asset(testasset 1) in your Asset table this is incorrect. The asset listed in the Extend Warranty Coverage should be testasset 2 since this is the asset selected in the Asset table to review and extend the coverage for, same issue for any asset that is highlighted other than the 1st asset in the list. EXPECTED RESULTS: The Extend Warranty Coverage when opened should display the correct asset selected from the Asset table. REPORTED VERSION: IBM Maximo for Transportation 7.6.2.5 and 7.6.2.6
