Error description

  • With the following environment:
Eclipse Photon Release 4.8.0
CICS Explorer Version: 5.5.17.202106091536
CICS Interdependency Analyzer Plugin Version: 5.5.6.202105110559


The error occurs when trying to connect to a configured
Interdependency Analyzer Connection in the CICS Interdependency
Analyzer plugin.

IZE0106E Connect failed with error
"com.ibm.db2.jcc.am.SqlException: DB2 SQL Error: SQLCODE=-30025,
SQLSTATE=56073, SQLERRMC=DT3G;DSN12015:*:V12R1M506;0600;0002,
DRIVER=4.21.29" (CICS PROD)

The JDBC Driver is not up to date and it cannot complete the
connection.

Local fix

Problem summary


    

  • CICS Explorer 5.5.0.17 did not contain the fix that shipped the
Db2 v4.26.14 driver.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • CICS Explorer has been updated to include the fix that shipped
the Db2 v4.26.14 driver.

This fix will be made available in Version 5.5.0.18 of the CICS
Explorer.
