APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • DESCRIPTION: Status of all the work order tasks cannot be
    changed if there are multiple Planned Materials in the work
    order.
    
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    
    1) Go to Organizations application; Click EAGLENA;
    Under More Actions, click select Inventory Options and check
    ?Automatically create usage documents for new reservations??
    
    2) Go to Job Plans application;
    (i) Create a new Job Plan: TEST_JP; Description: Test Job Plan;
    Organization: EAGLENA; Site: BEDFORD
    (ii) Duration: 4:00; WO Priority: 1
    (iii) Insert four Job Plan Tasks (Task 1 ? Task 4) with 1:00
    duration each.
    (a) Task: 10; Description: Task 10; Duration: 1:00;
    (b) Task: 20; Description: Task 20; Duration: 1:00;
    (c) Task: 30; Description: Task 30; Duration: 1:00;
    (d) Task: 40; Description: Task 40; Duration: 1:00;
    (iv) Under Labor, Planned Labor; Insert a craft: ELECT; Skill
    Level: FIRSTCLASS; Vendor: EMI
    (v) Switch to Materials tab; Insert three materials for each
    Task - Task 10, Task 20 and Task 30 as below:
    Task: 10
    (a) Task: 10; Item: 0-0031; Storeroom: CENTRAL; Storeroom Site:
    BEDFORD; Item Quantity: 4.00
    (b) Task: 10; Item: 2951-09-10; Storeroom: CENTRAL; Storeroom

    BEDFORD; Item Quantity: 5.00
    
    Task: 20

    Insert one material for Task: 40
    (a) Task: 40; Item: 0-0048; Storeroom: CENTRAL; Storeroom Site:
    BEDFORD; Item Quantity: 3.00
    
    With this, under Materials tab, we have 3 items for each Task -
    10, 20 and 30 and one item for Task 40
    
    (v) Save and Change Job Plan Status to Active
    
    
    3) Go to Preventive Maintenance application.
    (i) Create a new PM; PMNUM: TEST_PM; Description: Test PM
    (ii) Asset: 11450; Ensure the Asset is ACTIVE; Job Plan:
    TEST_JP; Work Order Status: WSCH; Save
    (iii) Save and Change PM Status to Active
    (iv) Under More Actions, click Generate Work Orders, uncheck
    "Use Frequency Criteria?"; Click Ok.
    A Work Order is created with a message Similar to below:
    BMXAA3208I - PM TEST_PM created work order 1299.
    
    
    4) Go to Work Order Tracking Application;
    (i) Open the work order record: 1299; The WOStatus is WSCH as
    mentioned in the PM.
    (ii) Switch to Plans Tab; Observe the status of each Task under
    "Tasks for Work Order 1299" section.
    (iii) The status is as below:
    Task 10: WSCH
    Task 20: WAPPR
    Task 30: WAPPR
    Task 40: WSCH
    Only Task 10 and Task 40 has WSCH status- same as Work order
    (iv) Change Work Order Status to Approved.
    
    
    5) At the WONUM: 1299;
    (i) In the Plans Tab; Observe the status of Task 20 and Task 30
    are still shown as WAPPR.
    (ii) Try to Change the status of Task 20 or Task 30. A System
    message similar to below is shown
    BMXAA4593E - Could not change Activity 1299, task 20 status to
    APPR.
    BMXAA4129E - The record for Site=BEDFORD, Usage=1016, Line=18
    already exists. Ensure that the key value for the given record
    is unique.
    
    
    6) Other Observations, for reference
    Go to Inventory Usage Application; Open the record: 1016 having
    description: Created for WO - 1299.
    Observe Line 18 doesn't exist under Usage lines.
    
    
    
    RESULT:
    
    Status of Task 20 or Task 30 cannot be changed and below
    message is shown.
    BMXAA4593E - Could not change Activity 1299, task 20 status to
    APPR.
    BMXAA4129E - The record for Site=BEDFORD, Usage=1016, Line=18
    already exists. Ensure that the key value for the given record
    is unique.
    
    
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    
    Status of Task 20 or Task 30 should be allowed to change.

  • This is fixed in code. This apar is a duplicate of another 7613
    IJ29810.
