Error description

  • In the Graphical Assignment (GA) application dynamic sizing on
the Assignment Vew tab no longer works. This is a problem as
it makes it harder to make assignments from the craft area to
the individual labor as often you cannot see both at once since
there is unneeded blank space between the assignments and the
    labor.

In 7610 IFix 008 and before it worked. Sometime after that
(and by 7610 IFix 013) it stopped working.

Dynamic sizing means that if there are 5 assignments for that
craft on one date and time, it makes a space 5 rows high on
that date. When you move to another date and time that only
has 2 assignments, it collapses the 5 rows down to 2. If you
scroll to another date/time that has 7 assignments it opens up
the space to be 7 rows high.

    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1. Create 5 workorders that start on the next Monday at 7am.
Give each a duration greater than zero and a planned labor of
    the same craft.
    2. Create 2 more workorders that start 2 days later at 7am.
Give each a duration greater than zero and a planned labor of
the same craft as the one used above.
    3. Go to GA and create a new Work List with a query to select
    all the WO created above.
    4. Click on the Assignment View tab.
    5. Zoom in so you can see only next Monday.
    6. The space for the craft will be tall enough to accommodate
    the 5 assignments.
    7. Now scroll the date ribbon over 2 days so that Monday is no
longer visible and only the day with the next 2 assignments is
    shown.

    RESULTS:
The vertical space allocated for the day with the most
assignments, 5 on Monday, stays allocated even when Monday is
no longer visible instead of collapsing down to the 2 rows
    needed 2 days later.

    EXPECTED RESULTS:
For the vertical space 2 days later to collapse down to the 2
rows needed, bringing the labor rows up so that they can be
    seen directly below the assignments.
