IJ32696: WORK ORDER ACTUAL REGULAR HOURS NOT BEING UPDATED AS PER GIVEN START AND END TIMES

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The Regular Hours in Actual Labors tab is not being updated as
  expected if the entered start time and end time is less than
  planned regular hours.
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  
  
  1) In a work order, plan a labor
  ELECT
  QTY: 1
  Regular Hours: 2:00
  Approve this WO
  
  2) Under Actuals > Labor, click on ?Select Planned Labor? and
  bring the planned craft - the Regular Hours field will already
  be filled with 2:00, as planned.
  a) But if you do the following:
  Start Time: 1:00
  End time: 4:00
  Regular Hours will update to 3:00 - greater than planned, as
  expected.
  
  b) However, if you inform
  Start time: 1:00
  End Time: 1:30
  
  3) When you inform the start time = 1:00 and the finish time =
  4:00.
  The Regular Hours field is updated to 3:00 automatically, as
  expected. Then, change the finish time = 1:30. The Regular Hours
  field is updated to 0:30 without error.
  
  The error only occurs if the first change of the end time is to
  a time that results in a smaller value for the regular hours
  field than the original
  
  EXPECTED RESULTS: Regular Hours should be updated to 0:30 - less
  than planned, as expected. It doesn't matter if it's the first
  attempt or not.
  
  RESULTS:  Regular Hours is not updated to 0:30 and the user gets
  this error below:
  You entered: 1:30
  Regular hours plus overtime duration exceeds duration between
  start and finish times. (BMXAA2590)
