Error description

  • For CICS IA command flow reporting, incorrect data provided when
command flow captures multiple tasks for the same TranID initia
ted at the same time.

* USERS AFFECTED: All users using Command Flow feature of      *
*                 CICS IA 5.5                                  *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This issue occurred when an IA          *
*                      collector switches the collection from  *
*                      one task id to another during two       *
*                      simultaneously executing transactions.  *
*                      Where in the first task id's command    *
*                      flow was split into two parts, both     *
*                      having incomplete flow.                 *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Install the updated CICS IA 5.5 Plug-in      *
*                 which is 5.5.0.6                             *
****************************************************************
Show Execution visualization in plug-in shows incomplete command
flow for some of the task id.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Fix has been provided to show complete Command Flow for the
affected cases.
This fix will be made available in version 5.5.0.6 of the CICS
IA Plug-in.
