APAR status

Error description

  • DESCRIPTION:
    If Maximo is installed with Spanish or other not English as the
    base-language, and English is not installed as an additional
    language, then the Spanish values in the INVUSESTATUS domain do
    not get recognized and subsequently disallow any status changes
    to Inventory Usage records. Whenever a status change is
    attempted, the user is presented with a System Message:
    "BMXAA4024E - COMPLETE is not a valid value in the INVUSESTATUS
    domain. Specify a valid synonym value. You can find a list of
    valid values using the Domain application."
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    *General condition - see Description
    1. Log in to maxdemo instance (where installation was done with
    Spanish as the base language)
    2. Go To Inventory | Inventory Usage
    3. Available Queries | All Records
    4. Click to open any record in ENTERED Status
    5. Common Actions | Change Status to Complete
    6. Click OK
    RESULT:
    System Message appears:

    domain. Specify a valid synonym value. You can find a list of
    valid values using the Domain application."
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    The status will update without error
