Error description

  • If the file path <long_path_to_file> length is more than
100
and the pax archive is with extended header for the file,
the
pax command may list or extract file as directory. E.g.
# touch ./<long_path_to_file>
# pax -wf test.pax -x pax ./<long_path_to_file>
# pax -vf test.pax
drw-r--r--  0 root     system           Oct 21 20:58
./<long_path_to_file>
