APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1. Go to the Organizations application and bring up EAGLENA.
    2. From More Actions select Inventory Options, Inventory
    Defaults and then check the box for "Automatically create usage
    documents for new reservations?".  Click OK.
    3. Go to the Work Order Tracking application and create a new
    work order (MT2) for location OFFICE.
    4. Go to the Plans tab and add 2 tasks:
     - Task=10, Summary=TASK 10, Estimated Duration=4:00
     - Task=20, Summary=TASK 20, Estimated Duration=5:00
    5. Go to the Materials sub-tab and add lines associated with
    task as follows:
     - Task=10, Item=11241, Quantity=1.00, Unit Cost=109.00,
    Storeroom=CENTRAL
     - Task=10, Item=12853, Quantity=1.00, Unit Cost=124.33,
    Storeroom=CENTRAL
     - Task=10, Item=GLOVES, Quantity=1.00, Unit Cost=3.52,
    Storeroom=CENTRAL
     - Task=20, Item=GLOVES, Quantity=1.00, Unit Cost=3.52,
    Storeroom=CENTRAL
     - Task=20, Item=217213, Quantity=1.00, Unit Cost=7.59,
    Storeroom=CENTRAL
    6. Save the record and change the status to APPR.  This changes
    the work order to APPR status, TASK 10 to APPR but TASK 20
    remains at WAPPR.
    7. Go to the Actuals tab and attempt to manually change the
    status of TASK 20 to APPR.  An error is displayed.
    ACTUAL RESULTS:
    BMXAA4593E - Could not change Activity MT2, task 20 status to
    APPR.
    BMXAA4129E - The record for Site=BEDFORD, Usage=1028, Line=15
    already exists. Ensure that the key value for the given record
    is unique.
    In some cases you may see this error:
    System Message BMXAA4210E - Database error number 904 has
    occurred. Invalid SQL queries are logged in the log file. Check
    the SQL query to identify the error.
    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    No error should be displayed and the tasks should be approved.

    Maximo 7.6.1.1, 7.6.1.2
