IJ29738: SPATIAL LAYERS TOOL MAKES EXCESSIVE EXPORT CALLS TO ARCGIS IN MAP APPLICATIONS

Error description

• PROBLEM DESCRIPTION
  Checking/unchecking checkbox nodes to
  enable/disable layers on Maximo Spatial Layers tool causes
  excessive export method calls to ARCGIs. This is caused by the
  Spatial javascript code as it makes one call to ArcGis export
  method per nested layer when only one call would suffice".
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE
  1) Go to the Assets application (It also
  occurs in Location, Service Request or Work Order Tracking)
  2)
  Select an asset
  3) Open the browser debugger
  4) Click on the
  Map tab
  5) Click on the Layers tool with all layers
  selected
  6) Spatial javascript code makes one call to ArcGis
  export method per nested layer when only one call would suffice
  to guarantee the intended outcome which is the multiple
  selection/deselection of the nested layers
  RESULTS:
  Spatial
  SpatialLayerPanelWidget.js makes a calls to the ArcGIS export
  method for every layer
  The Browser debugger will have repeated
  calls like:
  https://arcgisserver/arcgis/rest/services/export?..
  .
  EXPECTED RESULTS:
  Only one call to ArcGis export method per
  nested layer
