  * with bos.rte.libc at 7.1.5.35.

  * ERROR DESCRIPTION:
  * Users may be unable to login as loadable authentication
  * modules (LAMs) may fail to authenticate users.
    **************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:
  * Install APAR IJ29552.
  * Prior to fix availability, an interim fix is available from
  * either
  * ftp://aix.software.ibm.com/aix/ifixes/ij29552/
  * https://aix.software.ibm.com/aix/ifixes/ij29552/
  * Installation of the ifix requires a reboot.

Local fix

Problem summary

• Some LAM module authentication will no longer work at
  service packs that contain:
  
  
  IJ26783/IJ27569/IJ28075/IJ23374 LOCAL USERS CAN
    AUTHENTICATE THROUGH KRB5 UNEXPECTEDLY
  
  GSA, for example, will fail to authenticate users. It
  is possible that other modules could be affected.
  

Problem conclusion

• The authentication method now appropriately authenticates as
  expected.
