APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • This is a regression issue from 7612 GA.
    
    The issue was found
    in TPAE 7612 IFIX build 20201113 ( IF003 )
    
    The Null Pointer
    exception showed when clicking Run Reorder button in the
    Reorder Direct Issue Items dialog from Inventory
    App.
    
    Reproduce steps :
    =============
    1) Login as maxadmin ( or
    wilson ) or any user
    2) Make sure there is a default insert
    site specified . For example, TEXAS, Do not use site
    Bedford.
    3) Goto Inventory List view.
    4) On the left pane,
    click ' Reorder ' --> Reorder Direct Issue Items / Svcs
    5) The
    Dialog showed, but the ' Site ' field is empty and read-only
    6)
    click ' Run Reorder ' button, The unknow error showed. ( This
    is the problem !!! )
    ( see screen shot in the Links tab )
    In
    the System error log, the following exception showed
    
    7) Repeat
    the step 4, the Site field will be populated this
    time.
    
    Expected Result :
    ============
    In step 4, The null
    pointer exception should not occur. The Site field should be
    populated and should be editable by selecting value from the
    magnifier icon.
