APAR status

Error description

  • Problem description:
    When modifying the WPMATERIALline, by
    changing the quantity the new related INVRESERVE line will have
    WPMATERIAL less MATUSETRANS quantity values.
    
    prerequisites:
    1.
    Go to Adinistration, Organizations more actions click Work
    Order Options, Edit Rules, EDITWPMAT must be flagged for COMP
    status
    2. Enusre to use an item "XX" which has Rotating
    Assets.
    3. Go to Purchase Order Application, create a new PO
    "1094" with a Vendor "EMI"
    4. Tab to POLine, and click New
    Rows. Enter FIRE-100 in the Item field, storeroom:CENTRAL,
    quantity: 30
    5. Save and Approve the PO "1094"
    6. Go to
    Receiving application, filter PO"1094" Select Ordered Items and
    Save. Change Inspection Status.
    7.Receive Rotating Items and
    click Auto Number. Click OK. 30 Rotating assets are
    created.
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1. Go to Work Order Tracking,
    create a new Work Order "1201", add a location BR200. Save
    2.
    On Plans Tab, Material sub-tab, enter a new row, enter item
    "XX", storeroom CENTRAL and quantity 3. Save and Approve WO
    "1201"
    3. On the Actuals tab, Material sub-tab. Click Select
    Reserved Items. You will see item "XX" display with quantity 3.
    Select the record, click OK.
    You will see three rows
    populated. For each row, in the Rotating Asset field, Select a
    unique asset you just received.
    Remember we have received 30
    of them. For each row, select a different one.
    Click Save,
    Check GLDebit account to ensure they are fully specified.
    4.
    Now there should be 3 records of MATUSETRANS (from the
    sub-tab).
    5. Change the Work order "1201" status to
    Complete.
    6. Click the Plans tab, create the second material
    with the same item. Enter "XX", storeroom: CENTRAL, quantity:
    11. Save
    7. Go to Inventory, filter item "XX" more action
    Add/Modify Reservations and you should see 1 reservation for
    the Work order "1201". Check ReSERVEDQTY is 11, ACTUALQTY is
    0.
    8. Go Work order Tracking application, filter "1201" for the
    second material, with quantity 11 under the Plans tab, modify
    the unit cost to a different value. DO NOT modify the quantity.
    Save the WO.
    9. Go to Inventory and select Action, Add/Modify
    Reservations, "XX" and check the record for the WO "1201", you
    will see:
    
    UNEXPECTED RESULTS:
    10.Reserved Qty:8, ActualQty:3.
    This is incorrect, It should still be Reserved Qty 11, Actual
    Qty:0
