IJ29031: GRAPHICAL WORK WEEK - LEFT CLICK IN THE ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION TO CHANGE WEEKS IS NOT REFRESHING THE RESOURCES VIEW

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In the Graphical Work Week (GWW) application doing a left click
  in the Assignment Description to change the week displayed to
  the week where the Assignment occurs, is
  not refreshing the Resources View to show that same week.
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  1. Go to Work Order Tracking and create WO01:
  - Schedule Start Date = Next Monday 7AM / Duration = 7
  2.  On Plans Tab create 4 tasks:
  --- Task 01 Schedule Start Date = Two weeks ahead Monday 7AM /
  Duration = 7.
  --- Task 02 Schedule Start Date = Three weeks ahead Monday 7AM
  / Duration = 7.
  --- Task 03 Schedule Start Date = Three weeks ahead Monday 7AM
  / Duration = 7.
  --- Task 04 Schedule Start Date = Three weeks ahead Monday 7AM
  / Duration = 7.
  3. Create 5 Planned Labor lines:
  --- Task = null, Craft = AF (or any craft that has
  calendar/shift) then select a Skill Level (If AF, select SENIOR)
  --- Task = 01, Craft = AF (or any craft that has
  calendar/shift) then select a Skill Level (If AF, select JUNIOR)
  --- Task = 02, Craft = AF (or any craft that has
  calendar/shift) then select a Skill Level (If AF, select JUNIOR)
  --- Task = 03, Craft = CARP.
  --- Task = 04, Craft = CARP.
  4. Save the record.
  5.Go to Graphical Work Week, create GWW01, select a valid
  calendar, shift and set the start and end dates to include
  all of the weeks of the tasks above.  Then create a work query
  with Where Condition (parent = 'WO01' OR wonum = 'WO01').
  6. Move to the Graphical View tab and you will notice that the
  Assignments View shows the work available for current week.
  7. Left click the description of any assignment that is not
  being shown in the Gantt in the top section of the
  Graphical View tab.
  RESULTS:
  When using the description left click to zoom to the week of an
  assignment, GWW doesn't refresh the bottom view, the resources
  load and availability chart.  The top section goes to the week
  of the assignment but the bottom view stays unchanged.
  EXPECTED RESULTS:
   The Graphical View should be refreshed to show both
  assignments and
  load/availability for the same week, the week when the
  assignment happens.
