APAR status

Error description

  • When Combobox control is used in a table column it displays the
    dropdown button (triangle) not next to the field, but below the
    field.
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1.	Open the ?Application Designer?
    application
    2.	Search and open an application e.g. ?WOTRACK?
    application
    3.	In the ?List? tab click on <Control
    Palette>
    4.	Click on <Table Column> control and insert it near
    the ?Status? column
    5.	Right click the new table column and
    select <Properties>
    6.	Select the attribute ?STATUS? from the
    object ?WORKORDER?
    7.	In the ?Controls? window select the
    <Combobox> control and drag it in the header if the new table
    column
    8.	Click on tab ?Plans?
    9.	In the ?Controls? window
    select the <Table Column> control and insert it in the ?Labor?
    tab near the ?Skill Level? column
    10.	Right click the new
    table column and select <Properties>
    11.	Select the attribute
    ?SKILLLEVEL? from the object ?WPLABOR?
    12.	From the ?Controls?
    window click on <Combobox> control and drag it in the header if
    the new table column
    13.	Save the application
    definition
    14.	Open the Work Order Tracking
    application
    15.	Click <ENTER> to display some work
    orders
    16.	For the new table column ?Status? the dropdown
    button (triangle) is not displayed next to the field, but below
    the field
    17.	Open one work order and click on the tab
    ?Plans?
    18.	In the ?Labor? tab for the new table column ?Skill
    Level? the dropdown button (triangle) is not displayed next to
    the field, but below the field
    RESULT:
    The dropdown button is
    not displayed next to the field, but below the field.
    EXPECTED
    RESULT:
    The dropdown button should be displayed next to the
    field.
