IJ28456: SCHEDULE DATA MANGER - DEPENDENCIES TAB - DELETE CONSTRAINT IS NOT WORKING IN CIRCULAR DEPENDENCIES DIALOG

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In the Schedule Data Manger (SDM) application on the
  Dependencies Tab, Delete Constraint is not working in Circular
  Dependencies dialog.
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  1. This problem can only be reproduced with data loaded
  directly to the database to establish the circular dependency,
  loop, as Maximo prevents you from adding loops from the front
  end.
  2. In Graphical Scheduling (GS), create a valid record that has
  work orders with circular dependencies.
  3. Go to Scheduler Data Manager and open the record created in
  GS.
  4.  Click on the Dependencies tab
  5.  Click on the  Validate Constraints button
  6.  Click on the Show Circular Dependency icon located toward
  the end of a row with an Error/Warning of "Cannot have circular
  constraint"
  7. Right click on one of the constraint lines and choose
  Delete.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Click on Validate Constraint again.
  RESULTS:
  The Error remains on the screen.  If you open the Show Circular
  Dependency dialog again, you can see the circular dependency is
  still there.
  EXPECTED RESULTS:
  No error is displayed since the constraint was deleted.
