APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Inventory Reorder Lead Time (Days) does not get updated based
    on the Item's purchase delivery date when the Recent Lead Time
    Weight in % in the storeroom is set AND the Purchase Order has
    Inspection Required set.
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1. Set Recent Lead Time Weight in % in the Storeroom
    application as 50.
    2. Manually set the Inventory Lead Time (days) to 20 on the
    Inventory item.
    3. Create a PO with Delivery Date set as today. Add the item in
    the PO lines and check the 'Inspection Required box'. Approve
    the PO.
    4. Perform receiving by using 'Select Ordered Items' action in
    the Receiving application. The record is now in WINSP status.
    Save the record.
    5. Notice that the inventory Lead Time (days) does not get
    updated.
    6. Perform 'Change Inspection Status' action and the inventory
    quantity has increased as expected.
    7. Notice that the Inventory Lead Time (days) does not get
    updated as well (still 20).
    
    RESULTS:
    Inventory Lead Time (days) does not get updated (it is still
    20).
    
    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    The inventory Lead Time (days) should change from 20 to 10
    after receiving (adjusted to 50% less). This works if
    Inspection is NOT checked.
