APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When you go to Self Service<Service Request< Create
    Service Request application the setting on Select Value<Filter
    By dialog box on the Asset field appears to affect
    the selection of an asset in the menu option Classification
    dialog box.
    
    Steps to replicate;
    
    Sign in with WILSON
    Go to Self Service > Service Requests > Create Service Request
    On the Asset field, click on lookup arrow > Select Value > then
    click Cancel
    On the Asset field, click on lookup arrow again > Classification
    Under Classification Search, scroll down and expand PUMP, select
    CNTRFGL, choose Asset 11430 from Asset table below
    
    RESULT:
    Receive Error message:
    BMXAA0090E - Asset 11430 is not a valid asset, or its status is
    not an operating status.
    
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    The selected asset should be allowed and the user returned to
    the Asset field with the selected value
    
    On the Asset field, click on lookup arrow > Select Value >
    change Filter By to 'All', click Refresh, and Continue
    On the Asset field, click on lookup arrow again > Classification
    Under Classification Search, scroll down and expand PUMP, select
    CNTRFGL, choose Asset 11430
    Selecting 11430 for Asset field is now successful.
