IJ26129: EVENTS COPIED FROM ONE QRADAR DEPLOYMENT TO ANOTHER CANNOT BE OPENED IF THE COMPONENT ID DOES NOT EXIST IN THE NEW ONE

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When events are copied from one QRadar deployment to another
    and the component id associated to those events does not exist
    within the data on the new QRadar deployment, those events
    cannot be opened.
    An "Application Error" is generated in the QRadar User
    Interface when these affected events are attempted to be opened.
    Messages similar to the following might be visible in
    /var/log/qradar.error when this issue is occurring:

Problem summary

  • This issue was fixed in QRadar QRM QVM release of 7.4.1 FixPack
    1 and 7.3.3 FixPack 5.
