IJ25805: NULLPOINTEREXCEPTION CAN CAUSE ACCUMULATED VALUE TIMESERIES DATA DISCREPANCIES WHEN MANAGED HOSTS ARE ENCRYPTED

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When encryption is enabled for Managed Hosts, there can be
    variances in the accumulated value reported by some ADE Rules
    vs accumulated values shown in the timeseries graph when a Null
    Pointer Exception occurs.
    Messages similar to the following might be visible in
    /var/log/qradar.log when this issue is occurring:

  • Where possible, disable encryption for Managed Hosts.
