APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Existing customers have agents that they have developed for ITM
  and APM. These agents and their data do not appear in the
  CP4MCM UI, so the customers can not migrate their management to
  CP4MCM.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• REST interfaces have become much more common in the industry.
  REST interfaces format their data using JSON instead of the XML
  that was used for SOAP. Without the ability to parse JSON
  responses and to optionally include JSON data in POST requests,
  the user can not access these interfaces.
  

Problem conclusion

• Enhance the "SOAP" provider to properly handle JSON data. The
  Agent Builder SOAP browser now understands JSON data and will
  properly add the appropriate xpath information to allow the data
   to be parsed correctly into attributes. The runtime now
  understands these xpaths and can properly parse response data.
  In order to handle more REST interfaces, the SOAP editor has
  been enhanced to allow the user to specify JSON POST data
  content and to add request header information.
  This is available by default in the SOAP data provider.
