Error description

  • ERROR DESCRIPTION:Ø
    Problem Description:
When using a group that has Independent flag set, not seeing
all the repair facilities when flag set to see all. You need to
enter the individual sites. If you uncheck the Independent of
other groups flag, you can see them all.

Security settings for repair facility should follow the combine
or not-combine rule dictated by the security group's
    "Independent of other groups" flag.

It should show all when Authorize Group for All Repair
    Facilities = Y

    Steps to recreate:
    1. Repair Facilities are enabled in Organizations from Work
    Order Options (EAGLENA)
    2. Set up Locations(BEDREP and FLEETREP) and flag them as
Repair Facilities in FLEET and BEDFORD sites.
    3. Create new Security Group: FLEETSUP
    a. Independent of Other Groups = Y
    b. Site Access = BEDFORD, FLEET
    c. Repair Facilities = Authorize Group for All Repair
Facilities = Y and Allow Access to Records That Do Not Have a
    Repair Facility = Y
    d. Grant full access to Locations, Asset, Workorders
    4. Create new user TESTER and add to the FLEETSUP group
    4. Log in to Maximo as user TESTER of the FLEET SUPERVISORS
group. The user is a member of other
    security groups; none are Independent.
    5. Open Assets and bring up asset record. Select a Repair
Facility. The list of repair facilities
that opens has no locations to select from. It is expected the
BEDREP and FLEETREP set up in #2 above to be listed.

If you change the FLEETSUP group and uncheck the Independent of
other groups flag and repeat test, you will see the the repair
    facilities now

    Results:
Not seeing all the repair facilities that should be displayed

    Expected Results:
All Repair facilities should display in look up

    Environment:
    Tivoli's process automation engine 7.6.0.9-IFIX20180227
    Tivoli's process automation engine 7.6.1.1-IFIX20200421-0944
