Error description

  • PROBLEM DESCRIPTION -

    Go into the Person Groups
    application
    Pick the Person Group/Shop/Responsible Department
you want the user to be a member of
    Click New Row
    Enter the
    username in the Person field
Add the Site value in the Use For
    Site field
    Save the record

BMXAA3134E - This person is already
added to a different group, organization, or site. You can add
a person multiple times to a person group for the same
organization or site, such as within multiple sites or within
several organizations. However, the person cannot be added to
both organizations and sites. View the persons record and
ensure that the person is only added to one organization or one
    site.

    STEPS TO REPRODUCE -

Open / create a person group with
    multiple members.

Add a member normally with a useforsite
    (this should work).

Note the name of an existing member (or
one you created) with a useforsite value defined in the list
    that appears.

Now filter on person (a simple filter of '='
will produce 0 results, you need to see no results returned if
    the group has members!)

    Now click new row

    Add a duplicate
person (add the one you noted in the list previously) and do
    not define a 'useforsite' value.

    It will be allowed.

    --

    The
group is now bugged. You will no longer be able to add any new
user using the 'new row' until you use the filter to remove the
duplicate entries in the resulting list.

    --

    Re-open the
person group with a default search (no filter)

    Add any user
with a useforsite (it does not have to be a duplicate). You
will not be allowed to add the new user.

    RESULTS

    Getting
Error - BMXAA3134E - This person is already added to a
different group, organization, or site. You can add a person
multiple times to a person group for the same organization or
site, such as within multiple sites or within several
organizations. However, the person cannot be added to both
organizations and sites. View the persons record and ensure
that the person is only added to one organization or one
    site.

    EXPECTED RESULTS

Should not be able to add a duplicate
user. Then unable to add any other user to the group.
