  • An internal compiler error is produced when when compiling with
xlclang++ and -qdbgfmt=dwarf/dwarf4 options.

Problem summary

  • USERS AFFECTED:
Users compiling with xlclang++ and -qdbgfmt=dwarf are affected
by this issue.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The compiler produces an internal compiler error.
Inline debugging generates .debug_range sections for aixdwarf.
But the debug range only supported on AIX when -qfuncsect is
specificied.

Problem conclusion

  • The compiler has been fixed.
