Error description

• ERROR DESCRIPTION:
  
  Maximo is considering library documents as
  orphans and doclinks are unintentionally
  deleted.
  
  
  PROBLEM:
  
  In Maximo when you delete an attachment
  from a record it deletes the DOCLINK record and if DOCINFO
  record isn't referenced by another DOCLINK the DOCINFO is also
  deleted. This is the case even when the document was added to
  the Library. Therefore it allows the user to unintentionally
  delete a library document when they only want to remove the
  reference between the record and the attachment.
  
  
  PERFORMANCE
  ISSUE: No.
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  
  The problem happens when
  mxe.doclink.deleteOrphanDocinfo is 1.
  
  1.Navigate to the Assets
  application (or any app with attachments)
  2.Open the Manage
  Library dialog
  3.Add a file
  4.Open an asset record
  5.Open the
  Add From Library dialog
  6.Attach the test document from the
  Library
  7.Verified the record saved by going back to the list
  tab and then reopening the record
  8.Open the attachments dialog
  and delete the attachment
  9.Open the Manage Library
  dialog
  10.Search for the test document. It was deleted from
  Library as well.
  
  
  CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULT:
  
  Document is
  deleted from Library as it is considered orphan.
  
  
  EXPECTED
  RESULT:
  
  Documents in Library should not be considered
  orphan.
