Problem summary

  • USERS AFFECTED:
    C++ Users using std::tr1:basic_regex objects maybe affected by
    this issue.
    
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    Regex does not fully cleanup internal state on destruction /
    reset causing a memory leak
    

Problem conclusion

  • The fix causes  the _Destroy operation to fully cleanup the
    internal state
