APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When Linux OS agent was upgraded to APM agent V8.1.4.0.9 (LZ
agent version 06.35.14.10), a new variable KBB_SHOW_MTAB_FS was
introduced to not monitor file systems in /etc/mtab and only
monitor file system in /etc/fstab .
This cause any mounted file systems in /etc/mtab to not be
collected.
Environment:  Linux OS Agents
APM release number where the problem was found:  8.1.4.0.9
Linux OS agent version:  06.35.14.06

Local fix

  • Add KBB_SHOW_MTAB_FS=TRUE to the
<install_dir>/config/lz.environment and restart the agent.

Problem summary

  • The problem is resolved.

Problem conclusion

  • The fix is available in IBM Cloud APM 8.1.4.0.13.
