APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • It has been identified that when saving a Rule, the following
    message might be observed due to rule_data not being validated
    prior to persisting it to the database:
    "An error has occurred saving your rule. Please try again
    later."
    For example:
    1. Use "   sss" as a rule's Annotate event under Rule Action.
    2. Click Next until the Summary page, and click Finish.
    The error message above is generated.
    Messages similar to the following might be visible in
    /var/log/qradar.log when this issue is occuring:
