• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The CICS Explorer Interdependency Analyzer plugin cannot
  establish a SSL/TLS secured connection for an IA Collector
  Connection. Attempts to establish such a connection will result
  in message IZE0160E Connect failed with error "Couldn't connect.
  The web service client couldn't be created."
  

Local fix

Problem summary

•  Users are unable to establish a SSL/TLS
  protected IA Collector connection when using the CICS
  Interdependency Analyzer plug-in.  Even though users define
  the IA Collector connection as being secured using SSL/TLS the
  IA plug-in uses the HTTP protocol instead of the HTTPS protocol
  when communicating with either the IA web service or atom
  service in the target CICS region
  

Problem conclusion

•  The CICS Interdepencency Analyzer plug-in is
  modified to check whether an IA Collector connection has SSL/TLS
  security enabled and use the HTTPS protocol when communicating
  with the IA web service or atom service in the target CICS
  region.
  
  This fix will be made available in Version 5.3.0.11 and 5.5.0.2
  of the CICS Interdependency Analyzer plug-in for CICS Explorer.
