Error description

  • PROBLEM:   Incorrect duration of child work orders after
    running CPM
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1) Create a Work Order (estimated duration value 95.0 hours)
    Enter a Scheduled Start Date e.g. 11/07/19 12:35 AM
    Enter a Scheduled Finish (end date) e.g. 11/09/19 12:34 AM
    i.e. work order spans over 2 months
    Enter a duration of 95:00 hours
    2) Go to the Plans tab
    Click New Row button
    Expand the child work order
    NOTE: Scheduled start and finish dates have been copied from
    the parent
    Enter 9:30 hours as the estimated duration
    Click New Row button and enter 9:30 hours as the estimated
    duration
    Save the record
    i.e. Each child work order's estimated duration do NOT align
    with the children work orders' schedule dates
    3) Create a new schedule in Graphical Scheduling application
    Enter a schedule name
    Enter calendar and shift information
    Enter start and enter dates to cover a 2 month period e.g. from
    11 July - 11 Sept
    4)  Go to "Graphical View" and select the 2 child work orders
    5) Click "Create Constraints" icon on the toolbar
    6) Click "Zoom to Work " icon on the toolbar
    7) Select the parent work order and select the "Critical Path
    Method on ALL rows" icon
    
    RESULTS: After CPM is run, Gantt Chart shows that each child wo
    takes 2 months to complete. Each child should take 9:30 hours
    to complete
    
    EXPECTED RESULTS:  After CPM is run,  it should show the
    correct duration of the child work orders
