APAR status

Error description

  • It has been identified that QRadar plots the 2nd column of a
    saved search result as the Y-axis interval in the bar chart of
    a report regardless of the parameter selected.
    For example:
    Create a search Group By: Username
    Run the search for last hour and confirm barchart Y-Axis uses
    the Count value
    Save the search as Test2
    Create an hourly report with top and bottom sections
    Create a two-section graph
    For Top section:
    Chart Type: Event/Logs
    Use saved search Test2
    Graph Type: Bar
    Horizontal (X) Axis: Username
    Vertical (Y) Axis: Count
    For Bottom section:
    Use saved search Test2
    Graph Type: Table
    Expected result: Y-Axis using the 'Count' values
    Actual result: Y-Axis used the 'Event Name (Unique Count)'
    

Local fix

  • Move the desired column to the second column in the saved search
