APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • It has been identifed that in some instances, the current
    default number of open file limits per process is too low a
    value (1024).
    When this open file value ulimit is hit, the
    ariel_offline_indexer.sh script can fail to successfully create
    a super index.
    Messages similar to the following might be visible in
    /var/log/qradar.log when this issue is occuring:

    this issue in some instances.
