Error description
Using CICS Explorer and a workspace that contains private views, a new workspace is created by selecting "File -> Switch Workspace -> Other". In the "Select a directory as workspace' window, the Copy settings "Work Bench layout" and "Working Sets" were selected. . When Explorer was restarted with the new workspace, the following occurred: . 1) All the connection settings were not copied over . 2) All the windows that were open using CICS supplied views were reset to their default content and filters . 3) The windows that were open using private tailored CICS Explorer views were simply empty windows and remained so even after exporting them from the old workspace and importing them into the new workspace. . It would be nice if the newly created workspace looked exactly like the old workspace without loosing the connections, private views, or resetting to the default views. . . . When a user chooses to copy a workspace using the built-in Eclipse function, the new workspace retains the connections and private views provided the user selects an option in the switch workspace menu to copy them into the new workspace.
