APAR status

Error description

  • It has been identified that a message similar to "Application
    Error: an error has occurred." can be generated when clicking
    on an email link to an exported report.
    For example:
    1. Export a QRadar search and select "Notify me when complete",
    2. Receive this email:
    Your export job has completed. The file size exceeds the email
    attachment limit, you can download the results using the below
    link.
    *Note that the link is valid for one download only.
    https://<ipaddress>/console/exportData?jobId=038fc329-a7fa-481e-
    b511-f329ba98a0ab
    3. When clicking on the link to download the export a message
    is generated:"Application Error: an error has occurred."
    

Local fix

  • When you receive the email, navigate to /store/exports on the
    QRadar console and copy the file directly from the directory.

  • This issue was fixed in QRadar QRM QVM release of 7.3.2 Patch 3.
