APAR status

Error description

  • When installing DB2 using BigFix installer, DB2 will
    fail to start if the attribute 'nosuid' is enabled.
    
    BigFix installer should exit if the attribute 'nosuid' is
    enabled on the mount point where DB2 instance owner folder
    will be located (by default /home/db2inst1).
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Fixed in IBM BigFix 9.5 (fixpack 13)
    General availability end of Q2 2019 (release schedule subject to
    change).
