IJ11990: A SIGOPTION CREATED IN MAXIMO WITH PROPERTY AS LABELCSS AND WITHANY VALUE OF COLOUR, IT'S NOT GETTING REFLECTED IN THE APP

• ABSTRACT:
  
  Color feature not working in 7.6.1
  
  
  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  
  A sigoption created in Maximo with property as labelcss and with
  any value of colour, it is not getting reflected in the
  application. This was working till Maximo version 7.6.0.8.
  
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  
  1. Go to the Conditional Expression manager application.
  
  2. Create a new condition:
  
  Name: TESTCOLOR
  Description: Test Color
  Type: EXPRESSION
  Expression: description='TEST'
  Always Evaluate: YES
  
  Save the record
  
  3. Go to the Application Designer application. Filter and search
  for the Asset application
  
  4. In the Select Action drop-down, click on Add/Modify Signature
  Options
  
  5. Create a new sigoption via New Row button:
  
  Name: TESTCOLOR
  Description: Test color
  Visible: YES
  
  6. Right click on the Asset tab and click on properties.
  
  7. In Advanced tab, choose Signature Option created above: TEST
  COLOR
  
  8. Click on configure conditional properties button
  
  9. In the Security Groups section, add EVERYONE group
  
  10. In the Conditions for Security Group EVERYONE, search for
  TESTCOLOR condition created in step 2 above.
  
  11. In the Property values for Condition TESTCOLOR, add labelcss
  in Property field and txtgreen in Value field
  
  12. Click OK and save the record.
  
  13. Go to the Security Groups application. Filter and search for
  EVERYONE group
  
  14. In the Applications tab, filter and search for Assets
  application
  
  15. In Options for Assets, search for test color and check the
  Grant Access checkbox
  
  16. Save the record
  
  17. Log out and then log back in to Maximo
  
  18. Go to Assets application and create a new record
  
  Name: TESTASSET
  Description: TEST
  
  19. The color of the Asset tab does not change to green as it
  should.
  
  
  RESULTS:
  
  Could reproduce internally on a base TPAE 7.6.1 machine
  
  
  EXPECTED RESULTS:
  
  Color should change
