APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • It has been identified that in some instances the WinCollect
    File Forwarder can stop forwarding files unexpectedly.
    This behavior has been observed when the monitored file or
    directory is updated infrequently (more than 30 minutes of
    inactivity).
    

Local fix

  • Restarting the affected WinCollect agent temporarily fixes this
    issue, but it can re-occur.

Problem conclusion

  • This issue was fixed in WinCollect version 7.2.8 Patch 1
