Error description

  • It has been identified that NetFlow v9 and IPFIX TCP flags are
missing or incorrect when a single byte encoding is used.
QFlow supports sending 8 bits of TCP flags so the lower 8 bits
are intended to be used when two-byte encoding is used. When a
single byte is used for encoding QRadar attempts to read the
full 16 bits and only takes the lower 8 bits. The 8 bits of
the next field is processed as TCP flags.

Local fix

  • Where possible, configure an exported to send TCP flags through
    as 16-bit fields.

Problem summary
