Mismatch between records in invlifofifocost and asset cost after issue using auto split and after manually selecting rotating asset for issuing. SME Action Taken ================ SME reproduced in latest 7608IFIX Steps to reproduce ================== 1. Create an item in Item master application: Item test 3, check Rotating ? check box. Order Unit: EACH, Issue Unit: EACH. 2. Save the item and change status to Active and Roll New Status to Organizations and Inventory? yes 3. Add item to Storeroom: MACHSHOP, Issue Cost Type: FIFO, Default Bin: A-090 4. Go to Assets application and create 3 assets: ASSET 1 ITEM TEST 3 Location MACHSHOP Rotating Item: ITEM TEST 3 Bin: A-090 Inventory: 1 5. Save the Asset and change the status to Active 6. Repeat for the next 2 assets and increment Inventory Cost by 1 for each asset: ASSET 2 ITEM TEST 3 Location MACHSHOP Rotating Item: ITEM TEST 3 Bin: A-090 Inventory: 2 ASSET 3 ITEM TEST 3 Location MACHSHOP Rotating Item: ITEM TEST 3 Bin: A-090 Inventory: 3 7. Go to Inventory Usage application and create a new record: 1019, From Storeroom: MACHSHOP. Usage Lines > New Row: Usage Type: Issue Line Type: Item Item: ITEM TEST 3 From Bin: A-090 Location: TRANS40 Fill in GL Debit Account and Credit Account to resolve the warning messages when completing the Inventory Usage record. 8. Change status to Complete, Press Ok, Press Auto-Split. ASSET 1 ITEM TEST 3 is automatically selected. 9. Check Inventory for Item Test 3. We see the first asset was correctly removed due to the above action in Inventory Usage application. 10. Go back to Inventory Usage application and create a new record: 1020, From Storeroom: MACHSHOP. Usage Lines > New Row: Usage Type: Issue Line Type: Item Item: ITEM TEST 3 From Bin: A-090 Location: TRANS40 Fill in GL Debit Account and Credit Account to resolve the warning messages when completing the Inventory Usage record. 10. Change status to Complete, Press Ok, Press New Row in Select Rotating Assets1 table and click on the Select value icon for Rotating Asset field. Select third asset created: ASSET 3 ITEM TEST 3 and press OK. 11. Check Inventory again for Item Test 3 - check Inventory LIFO/FIFO Costs section and the Unit cost value of 3 shows as was selected when creating Asset 3 Item Test 3 above, but it should show 2, as Asset 2 Item Test 3 was left. - go to Rotating Assets tab and check Associated Assets section: Inventory Cost for remaining asset is 2, which is correct. RESULTS / PROBLEM ================== Mismatch between records in invlifofifocost and asset after issue using auto split and after manually selecting rotating asset for issuing. Expected Results ================ selecting the 3rd asset in the second Inventory Usage record and there is a mismatch between INVLIFOFIFOCOST.UNITCOST and ASSET.INVCOST. INVLIFOFIFOCOST.UNITCOST shows 3 which was the inventory cost value for the 3rd asset, and the ASSET.INVCOST is 2 which is correct, as the 2nd asset is the only one left. Both values should be 2.
