Error description

• Problem type: Platform during Runtime “ Birt Reporting
  Found in Product Version: The problem was found in and impacts
  3.5.3.4
  Can also be reproduced in 3.6.0.0. Review release notes after
  3.6.0.0 for resolutions.
  Symptom: - Navigate MyReports-System Reports - Apply Filter
  setting Display type as  'External'
  - open any BIRT report- suffix Russian translation of test ,
  save and run report
  - suffixed Russian characters appeared as ???
  Issue is with encoding type in BIRT plugin file
  Expected fix in version: Reported in 3Q2018.
  A fix has yet to be determined and we are unable to project a
  target at this time
  Expected Fix: Convert BIRT report a™s English Character Set
  into
  Russian (Cyrillic) Character Set when Opening Generated Reports
  The Work-Arounds: None

Problem summary

• The BIRT Report with Russian (Cyrillic) character set in the
  title will no longer display the question marks (???) when the
  report is running. This issue will be resolved in our next major
  release version, which is tentatively planned for 1H 2019.
